Auctions Module Nears Completion - Fall Release Expected
DynaPortal Software Company's upcoming Auctions module, developed in conjunction with a Canadian information technologies partner, is nearing completion of the coding phase. After the two companys' technical teams complete some late phase enhancements and usability changes from our beta testers, the module will begin its final testing. A beta release will follow soon after, followed later in the Fall of 2003 with the initial product release. President Eric Kintigh stated: "The module will be named DynaAuction and will be marketed as a stand-alone online auction e-commerce product, as well as an optional TownSource Interactive module."
Ad Server To Become Macromedia Flash® Enabled
Townsource Interactive's Ad Server Module will soon be able to deliver Macromedia Flash® multimedia ads. According to Macromedia, Flash® is installed on more than 97% of the Internet-enabled desktops and many other popular devices, making it the world’s most pervasive rich client software. This enhancement to the Ad Server will open up additional, robust revenue producing options for operators of TownSource Interactive sites.
Comprehensive Surveys Module Programming Is Underway
A sophisticated "build your own surveys" module, to allow more detailed market research than TownSource Interactive's Polls modules, has begun. A late Fall 2003 release is expected. The application, developed in cooperation with a New York City based developer, will enable clients to build their own extensive survey questionnaires without technical IT expertise - using only a browser. Surveys can allow public participation or be restricted to registered site users. Originators can choose to display answers or not, and to display results in graphical form. Additional advanced features will be announced. This module is sure to make our clients' marketing and research departments very pleased!
